Vintage Cartier-Bresson Embroidery Cotton Set | 12 Skeins in Original Presentation Box

Vintage Cartier-Bresson Embroidery Cotton Set | 12 Skeins in Original Presentation Box
A beautifully preserved boxed set of vintage French embroidery cotton by the celebrated house of Cartier-Bresson, Paris.
This original presentation box contains twelve unused skeins of Coton à Broder Brillanté in Blanc 5205, each retaining its original blue and gold paper bands. The set was still wrapped in its original cellophane when discovered and has only been opened for photography, leaving the contents in exceptional vintage condition.
Produced by Thiriez & Cartier-Bresson of Lille and Paris, these fine embroidery threads were once considered among France's most respected textile and sewing supplies. Today they are sought after by embroiderers, textile artists, collectors of vintage haberdashery and lovers of beautifully preserved French ephemera.
The presentation box itself is wonderfully decorative, printed in soft coral-red on cream card with the iconic Croix emblem. Together with the original blue tissue paper and untouched skeins, it makes a striking display piece as well as a practical sewing resource.
