A beautiful length of vintage woven trim, in soft aged cream with a wonderfully deep navy embroidered design.

The repeating motif has a lovely simple, almost folk-like quality, alternating stylised flowers and geometric forms along the length. The dark blue edging gives it a particularly crisp finish against the softly aged ground.

You will receive 100 cm of original vintage trim, presented wound around the card shown. The display card has been newly made in the studio using an old French image, chosen simply because it seemed the perfect companion for the trim. The card itself is not vintage.

A lovely piece for sewing, textile projects, slow stitching, dolls' clothing, decorative repairs, journals or simply adding to a collection of old haberdashery.

The trim is vintage and may therefore show small signs of age, storage or gentle discolouration. I have left it just as found.
