My approach is rooted in conscious collecting: seeking out items with character, charm, and enduring beauty that might otherwise be forgotten. Whether it’s a hand-printed fabric from 1950s France or a faded thread spool from an old haberdashery, I believe in reusing with purpose and celebrating the perfectly imperfect.
My mission is to bring timeless charm to modern interiors through sustainable, slow-living design. Whether you’re a collector of antique fabrics, a creative soul seeking antique materials, or someone who loves the romance of vintage style, you’re in the right place.
Thank you for supporting a small independent shop with a deep love for old things made to last.

I am a woman-owned vintage studio based in the UK, offering curated French textiles, slow-styled ephemera, and one-of-a-kind homewares. I’ve been a textile collector for many years and have a passion for storytelling through fabric and paper. Based in the UK, I personally source, photograph, and curate each piece you see in the shop.
My love of vintage textiles began more than three decades ago, and I started buying and selling vintage fabrics online in the 1990s. After moving to France in 2004, Pomme de Jour was established there in 2009, before returning with me to the UK in 2019. That long history of collecting continues to shape what I choose for the shop today.
From antique French linens and timeworn textiles to unusual brocante, haberdashery and paper ephemera, every item is handpicked with care and a sense of history.
Each piece is handpicked for its character, history, and enduring beauty. Every item you see here has been personally sourced, styled, and described by me- from brocante gems and unearthed in rural France to vintage finds gathered on slow journeys through the UK. This is a one-woman shop built on curiosity, care, and a passion for forgotten stories.
At Pomme de Jour, sustainability isn’t just a trend, it’s a way of life. Every vintage textile, print, and object I source has already lived a life of its own. By giving these pieces a second chapter, I aim to honour their history and reduce the need for new production.
Find me also on the Pomme de Jour Etsy shop, where I share vintage fabrics and collectables, and at Soft Alchemy, my journal-making studio.
