Vintage Photo Booth Portrait Strip, c.1940s

Vintage Photo Booth Portrait Strip, c.1940s
A wonderfully evocative original photo-booth strip containing three individual black and white portraits, likely dating from the 1940s.
Three faces, three tiny moments, still together after more than eighty years. The strip includes two young women and a young man, each photographed separately against studio-style backgrounds. The lowest portrait has a handwritten inscription across the front, adding a lovely personal detail.
The photographs remain attached as a single vertical strip and have the softly aged tones, gentle fading and small signs of wear that make original vernacular photography so appealing.
A beautiful little piece for a collection of vintage photographs and ephemera, or for displaying amongst old letters, postcards, dried flowers and other found objects.
