A wonderfully decorative bunch of vintage glass grapes in the most beautiful soft translucent pink.

Each rounded grape has been individually attached to the wrapped stems, creating a generous, heavy cluster. At the top are moulded green glass leaves, along with the remains of the original decorative stem and tendrils.

These glass fruit arrangements were popular decorative objects during the mid-20th century, often displayed in bowls or amongst other glass fruit. The pink is particularly lovely, with subtle variations in tone as the light passes through each grape.

This bunch has clearly been around for some time and I have left it exactly as found. There is age-related wear and dust within the crevices, wear to the wrapped stems and tendrils, and damage and losses to the glass leaves at the top, including broken sections. Please study the photographs carefully.

Despite the wear, it remains a wonderfully decorative piece, particularly displayed in an old bowl, on a tray or amongst a collection of vintage glass and curiosities.
