A beautifully preserved slice of mid-century British communication history. This original 1958 Greetings Telegram, issued by the General Post Office (GPO), features a vibrant illustrated header with festive floral garlands and a golden lyre motif. The typographic message, printed via typewriter-style telegram machine, adds a striking contrast of utility and celebration.

Each telegram was once hand-delivered to mark a joyful moment, a wedding, anniversary, or birthday, and today these make wonderful keepsakes or mixed media materials. Perfect as framed vintage decor, journal inserts, or poetic conversation starters.
