A charming collection of eighteen tiny vintage glass Christmas baubles, still in their original Woolworth packaging.

Measuring just 15 mm across, these miniature decorations come in a lovely assortment of traditional Christmas colours, including ruby red, cobalt blue, green, silver and gold.

The original cardboard box is almost as appealing as the decorations themselves, with its cheerful red lettering, illustrated Christmas tree and little patterned bauble. The side is printed with the Woolworth name, product number 683 and the original quantity of two dozen.

Originally containing 24 decorations, six have been lost over the years, leaving eighteen little glass baubles, all retaining their metal hanging fittings.

The decorations have clearly seen many Christmases, with faded colours, worn silvering, scratches and marks from years of use. I rather like them this way.

Perfect for a miniature Christmas tree, tucked amongst greenery or simply kept in their original box as part of a collection of vintage Christmas decorations.
