A wonderfully nostalgic vintage Christmas postcard featuring a group of excited children on Christmas morning.

Dressed in colourful striped pyjamas, the children are gathered around a bed, clutching their Christmas stockings, playing with toys and blowing a little trumpet. The charming illustration is framed by a red border with the greeting “A Joyous Christmas” across the top.

The reverse is handwritten in blue ink, with a Christmas message addressed to Mrs Harris in Swindon, Wiltshire, and signed with love from David and Brenda.

An original posted postcard, complete with a red King George VI postage stamp and circular postmark.

A delightful piece of mid-century Christmas ephemera, perfect for collecting, displaying among vintage decorations or adding to a nostalgic festive arrangement.
