A lovely mismatched collection of eleven vintage glass Christmas decorations, in a wonderful assortment of faded silver, pink, red, blue, gold, purple and green.

Some have beautifully textured surfaces, others are decorated with painted stripes and delicate patterns, while the old silvered glass has developed that lovely mottled, timeworn appearance.

I particularly like the mixture of shapes and colours. They have all the charm of Christmas decorations that have been brought out year after year, carefully unwrapped and enjoyed.

Several have lost their original metal hanging caps or loops, so not all are ready to hang. Replacement fittings may be possible to source, but I think they would look just as lovely gathered together in an old glass bowl, on a silver tray or amongst a collection of antique Christmas decorations.
