Vintage Majolica Style Floral Vase with Applied Flowers

Vintage Majolica Style Floral Vase with Applied Flowers
This decorative late Victorian or Edwardian majolica-style vase is a wonderfully exuberant piece, covered with high-relief flowers and leaves in soft shades of pink, blue, cream, and green, highlighted with touches of gilding.
The vase features ornate twin handles, a softly crackled glaze, and an abundance of applied floral decoration that gives it a sculptural, almost botanical quality. The reverse is decorated with a simple dotted swirl pattern, providing an attractive contrast to the richly ornamented front.
A lovely display piece for cottage interiors, maximalist collections, Victorian-inspired rooms, or anyone drawn to antique floral ceramics.
Standing approximately 21 cm high with a base diameter of around 8 cm, widening gently through the body.
Condition is good antique condition overall. There is age-related crazing and wear consistent with age. One flower appears to have lost part of a petal, visible in the photographs, and reflected in the price. Please study all images carefully.
A charming decorative vase with plenty of character and a delightfully romantic presence.
Perfect for displaying dried flowers or simply as a decorative object in its own right.
