A little bit of faded French glamour.

Boudoir Belle is made entirely by hand in the Pomme de Jour studio from vintage French card stock, with a wonderfully romantic image inspired by old French beauty and perfume ephemera.

A smiling belle emerges from a tumble of faded roses and flowers, all in softly washed shades of pink, lilac and cream. The original lettering and fragments of French text have been left visible, while the vivid pink borders give the box the feeling of an old beauty counter package or something once tucked away on a dressing table.

Open the lid and there is a simple pale interior, ready for jewellery, buttons, ribbons, keepsakes or any other tiny treasures.

Each box is individually made by hand and produced in a small number. Slight variations and imperfections are part of their character and the nature of working with old card stock.
