Vintage Floral Ceramic Pomander – Refilled With British Lavender

Vintage Floral Ceramic Pomander – Refilled With British Lavender
This vintage floral ceramic pomander was found at market, carefully cleaned, and gently refilled with freshly dried British lavender. Inside, you’ll find a handmade sachet of antique lace, tucked within to slowly release its calming scent over time.
Once placed in linen drawers or on dressing tables, pomanders like this were used to keep spaces softly scented. This one has been quietly reimagined, part of our ongoing Still Room series: a gentle practice of reviving objects with character and purpose. Sustainability here is rooted in care – working with what exists and celebrating the tactile charm of timeworn things.
The floral decal features blowsy pink roses, cornflowers, and violets in rich cottage hues. The back retains its original stopper and stamp, and there's a softly aged patina with fine crazing to the glaze.
