Antique Frosted Glass Rose Perfume Bottle with Jewelled Collar, c.1900 to 1915

Antique Frosted Glass Rose Perfume Bottle with Jewelled Collar, c.1900 to 1915
A beautiful antique frosted glass perfume bottle dating from around 1900 to 1915, decorated with raised roses on each side and finished with an elegant faceted glass stopper. Around the neck sits an ornate pierced metal collar, set with tiny coloured paste stones that add a subtle sparkle and a wonderful sense of period charm.
The bottle retains traces of its original contents, with aged perfume residue still visible inside, a lovely reminder of its long life. The metal collar has developed a soft verdigris patina over time, enhancing its antique character rather than detracting from it.
Its compact size makes it ideal for displaying amongst vanity treasures, antique scent bottles, dressing table collections or in a cabinet of curiosities. The romantic rose decoration and jewel-like stopper catch the light beautifully, making this a particularly decorative example.
Condition
Good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with over one hundred years of use. The metal collar shows verdigris and natural tarnishing, there are light surface marks to the glass, and residue remains inside from its original contents. Please study the photographs as they form part of the description.
