Au Bon Marché Keepsake Box

Au Bon Marché Keepsake Box
A one-of-a-kind studio made keepsake box created from a vintage Summit's children's shoe box and reimagined with a reproduction of an early Au Bon Marché Paris voucher.
The original cardboard box has been carefully preserved, retaining its softened edges, gentle signs of age and original shoe box label to one side. The lid features a beautifully detailed French department store voucher, inspired by the celebrated Parisian retailer founded by Aristide Boucicaut.
Perfect for storing treasured letters, postcards, photographs, sewing notions, labels, tickets and collected fragments of the past. A decorative piece for those who are drawn to French ephemera, old paper, haberdashery and objects with a story to tell.
No two boxes will ever be quite the same. This piece combines the history of a vintage shoe box with a new purpose, creating a practical home for small collections and keepsakes.
