Exquisite French antique transferware dish. This can be used also as a bonbonniere, compotier or cake dish. Made by HB & Cie which is also Choisy-Le-Roi, France. The backstamp indicates it dates from the period starting 1878 and finishing at the turn of the century.
The pattern is floral with birds and it has a tea stained patina, no fissures, no chips it is in a wonderful condition considering its impressive age!
